Beautiful little traditional villages can be discovered on Menorca. To do something like this, a car rental is advised.

• Monte Toro, highest point on the Island (358m), visit the sanctuary and enjoy panoramic views on a clear day 
• Ciutadella, the old capital of the Island.   
• Mahon, the capital with its famous Port, wander around the indoor fruit, veg and local produce market, visit the fish market and the converted bar and drinks area.  Pop into Gin Xoriguer – gin and liquor factory where you can taste the local liquor. 
• Traditional fishing village of Fornells on the north coast of the island
• Prehistoric sites : the most visited are Torralba den Salord and Naveta des Tudons
