Soma Bay is a relatively quiet and exclusive resort area, so there aren’t many traditional local markets directly within the resort itself. However, there are a few options nearby where you can explore local products, crafts, and souvenirs:
Abu Tig Marina (Soma Bay): Located within the resort area, this marina has some shops and small market-style stores offering souvenirs, local products, and handmade crafts. It’s a peaceful place for a stroll, but it’s not as large or bustling as other markets in the region.
El Dahar Market in Hurghada (about 45 minutes away from Soma Bay) is one of the most authentic traditional markets. Here you can find everything from fresh produce to spices, local textiles, jewelry, and souvenirs. It’s an excellent place to experience Egyptian street market culture.
