Please find below the selection we made for you:

Praia do Barril- Just outside of Tavira, on the island of Ilha de Tavira (Tavira Island). Praia do Barril is a wide, sandy beach with calm waters, making it ideal for swimming and sunbathing. It’s well-known for its unique old tuna-fishing anchors (called "âncoras") scattered along the beach, giving it a distinct character. You can reach the beach via a short boat ride from Tavira, followed by a walk or a ride on a mini train that takes you across the island.

Praia da Ilha de Tavira (Tavira Island Beach)- On Ilha de Tavira, a barrier island located just off Tavira's coast. This long and unspoiled beach is famous for its fine golden sand and crystal-clear waters. It's ideal for those looking for a quieter spot to relax. The island itself is almost entirely undeveloped, preserving its natural beauty.

Praia de Cacela Velha- Located a bit further east from Tavira, near the village of Cacela Velha. This beach is often less crowded and offers stunning views of the Atlantic, along with beautiful sand dunes and clear waters. It is perfect for those looking for a peaceful and scenic place to enjoy the sun and sea. You can reach the beach via a short drive or by taking a bus from Tavira.

Praia da Monte Gordo- Monte Gordo is a long, wide beach with calm, warm waters, perfect for families. It's one of the more popular beaches in the region, with plenty of facilities such as beach bars and restaurants. Easily accessible by car or public transport from Tavira.
