By buying a typical souvenir, you will bring a piece of Kos home with you.

Typical souvenirs would be:

  • Thyme Honey – Kos is famous for its high-quality honey, especially from Antimachia.

  • Olive Oil & Olive-Based Products – Locally produced olive oil, soaps, and cosmetics.

  • Herbs & Spices – Oregano, thyme, and mountain tea from local markets.

  • Kos Wine – Unique wines from local vineyards, especially from Mastichari.

  • Handmade Ceramics – Traditional pottery and decorative items from Zia village.

  • Local Cheese – Try "Posa" cheese, a special aged cheese preserved in wine.

  • Sponges & Natural Skincare Products – Found in local markets, perfect for gifts.

  • Traditional Sweets – Such as "baklava," "pasteli" (sesame and honey bars), and fig-based treats.

  • Evil Eye Charms (Mati) – A popular Greek souvenir for good luck and protection.

  • Handwoven Textiles & Embroidery – Traditional Greek designs made by local artisans.
