In El Cotillo is one local markets you can visit to discover local crafts and more. Here are some of the markets you can find in the area:

El Cotillo Market (Mercado de El Cotillo) This market is  held once a week, friday evening from 17:00 - 20:00. It offers a variety of local handmade gifts and jewellery.

Lajares Traditional Market
This is the place in the north of the island to buy a nice handmade souvenir to take home. The market starts on saturday at 10 am and lasts until 2 pm.

Corralejo :Campanario Centre Market ( thursday an sunday 10:00 - 14:00 )
With lots of locally made produce from food stuff, to arts, photography, jewellery and clothes etc.
On Sunday is a local band playing spanish music, definitely worthwhile, 20 minutes drive from El Cotillo or take the public bus.
