- Easter. This is the biggest celebration in Crete. People celebrate with family and friends. Traditionally there is a big parade as well to celebrate it.
- Ioannis Prodromos, This is a feast held in honour of John the Baptist. Is traditionally celebrated with Cretan dance, music and food.
- Agios Georgios, Is one of the most celebrated saints in Crete. He is seen as the protector of soldiers and the army.
