Your destination offers many restaurants that provide international cuisine. However, it is possible to locate reputable restaurants that offer tasty local food.

Local mallorcan food is based on pork, fish and vegetables. 

In this region they are very generous with garlic and olive oil. 

Also used a lot are the walnuts, lemons and salt from the salt plaines here in the south. 

A few examples of tranditional dishes are:

Coca mallorquina: a pizza type snack. Flatbread topped with vegetables and baked.   

Trempó: a simple salad with tomatoes, onion, mallorcan green bell pepper, olive oil and salt.  

Ensaïmada: a spural pastry, typal eating at breakfast or as a afternoon snack.
