Route Description: This trail in Seebachtal (which belongs to the Mallnitz Valley) is specially designed for families: there are about seven stations with nature games, educational elements about flora and fauna, and even an option to “rent a goat” (“Rent a Goas”).
2. Moderate Level: “Detmolder Steig (Trail 535)”
Route Description: This trail is about 3.9 km long (≈ 2.4 miles) with an elevation gain of around 170 meters (~ 551 ft).
3. More Challenging: “Alpe Adria Trail Stage 6: Innerfragant → Mallnitz”
Route Description: One of the longer stages of the famous Alpe Adria Trail, ending in Mallnitz: approximately 24 km (~ 14.8 miles) with about 1,270 meters (~ 4,169 ft) of ascent. For many hikers, the trip takes around 8½ hours.
