By buying a typical souvenir, you will bring a piece of Austria home with you.

Typical souvenirs would be:

  • Bernese Alpine cheese – long-aged, aromatic cheese straight from mountain farms.

  • Raclette or fondue cheese mixes from local producers.

  • Alpine herbal tea made from regional mountain herbs.

  • Alpine honey, especially alpine rose honey.

  • Dried meats (e.g., air-dried beef), commonly sold in the region.

  • Swiss chocolate, including products from local chocolatiers in Interlaken or Thun.
  • Wood carvings, including miniature alphorns and Edelweiss motifs
  • Cowbells in various sizes – classic Swiss souvenirs.
  • Handmade ceramics from regional workshops.
  • Alpine herb natural cosmetics (balms, soaps).
  • Felt or wool items such as slippers and hats made from local sheep’s wool.
