Bus

Here’s how to use the local buses (Titsa) in Guía de Isora, Tenerife:

Finding and Boarding the Bus:

Look for Titsa bus stops, which are clearly marked with green signs.

  • Popular routes serving Guía de Isora include 473, 477, and 460, connecting to key locations like Los Cristianos, Adeje, and Santa Cruz.

 Paying for Tickets:

  • Purchase tickets onboard with cash.
  • Use a Ten+ card (rechargeable and available at bus stations, vending machines, and kiosks) for discounted fares.

Planning Your Trip:

  • Use the Titsa website or app to view routes, schedules, and prices.
  • Plan connections in larger towns like Adeje or Costa Adeje, depending on your destination.

Taxi

You can request a taxi from the front desk of your accommodation or restaurant. You may also wait for a taxi at the taxi rank.

Before you get in the taxi, you must inform the driver of your direction. Ask the taxi driver to activate the Taximeter, and when you reach your destination, you pay the amount of the ride which is indicated on the screen. Additionally, you and the taxi driver can agree on an amount to pay before getting in the taxi. You can pay with cash. If you need a receipt, remember to ask the driver if it is possible to get it, before the ride starts.
