Mirador de Archipenque:  Located just a short drive from Playa San Juan, the Mirador de Archipenque is one of the best viewpoints in Tenerife. It offers panoramic views of the Los Gigantes cliffs, the Atlantic Ocean, and the neighboring island of La Gomera on clear days. 

Los Gigantes Cliffs:  Known as the "Giants", these towering cliffs are one of Tenerife’s most iconic natural landmarks. They rise up to 800 meters above the ocean, creating dramatic views. The cliffs are located a short drive from Playa San Juan and can be seen from various viewpoints around the area. 

Natural Pools of Charco del Viento:  These natural pools, located near La Caleta (a little further up the coast), are a fantastic spot to enjoy swimming in the ocean. The pools are surrounded by volcanic rock and offer calm, clear waters. 

Teide National Park (Day Trip): The Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is about an hour and a half’s drive from Playa San Juan. It's home to Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain (3,718 meters). The park offers surreal landscapes, volcanic craters, and lava fields. You can take a cable car up to the peak of Mount Teide (advance booking is recommended) or explore the hiking trails around the park. The scenery here is out of this world, with incredible volcanic formations and panoramic views of the island. 

Tenerife's Wine Region (Vino de Tenerife): Tenerife has a long tradition of winemaking, and the Valle de La Orotava and Guía de Isora are both part of the island's wine-growing regions. You can visit local wineries for wine tasting and explore the vineyards.
