Bus

Catching a bus in Tenerife, including La Caleta, is relatively simple, thanks to the well-organized public transport system. Here's a step-by-step guide:

Find the Nearest Bus Stop: The nearest bus stops are usually along the main road just outside the village, like on Calle La CaletaLook for the green-and-white TITSA bus stop signs.

Check the Bus ScheduleVisit the TITSA official website or Check printed timetables at the bus stops.

Popular routes from La Caleta: Route 467: Connects La Caleta with Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos. Route 473: For connections to Playa San Juan or Los Gigantes. Route 110 (via Costa Adeje): Fast connection to Santa Cruz.

Purchase a TicketContactless Payment: Most TITSA buses accept contactless credit/debit cards. Cash: You can pay the driver when boarding (small bills/coins are preferred). Mobile App: TITSA’s app allows for ticket purchase in advance.

Taxi

You can request a taxi from the front desk of your accommodation or restaurant. You may also wait for a taxi at the taxi rank.

Before you get in the taxi, you must inform the driver of your direction. Ask the taxi driver to activate the Taximeter, and when you reach your destination, you pay the amount of the ride which is indicated on the screen. Additionally, you and the taxi driver can agree on an amount to pay before getting in the taxi. You can pay with cash. If you need a receipt, remember to ask the driver if it is possible to get it, before the ride starts.
