Bus
You can give the bus driver cash in euros as payment for the bus ride. Ask the driver to call out your stop when you need to get off.
Tickets: Tickets can be purchased directly from the bus driver. It's advisable to carry small denominations of cash for this purpose.
Schedules: Bus schedules are subject to change, especially on weekends and public holidays. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, consult the official Tiadhe website.
Bus Stops: Look for bus stops marked with the Tiadhe logo. Some stops may have limited signage, so it's helpful to familiarize yourself with the route map in advance.
Taxi
You can request a taxi from the front desk of your accommodation or restaurant. You may also wait for a taxi at the taxi rank.
Before you get in the taxi, you must inform the driver of your direction. Ask the taxi driver to activate the Taximeter, and when you reach your destination, you pay the amount of the ride which is indicated on the screen. Additionally, you and the taxi driver can agree on an amount to pay before getting in the taxi. You can pay with cash. If you need a receipt, remember to ask the driver if it is possible to get it, before the ride starts.
Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory. A small tip of 5-10% of the fare is common if you are happy with the service.
