The public bus service in Fuerteventura (called "guaguas" locally) is operated by TIADHE. Here's what you need to know:

Taxi
Before you get in the taxi, you must inform the driver of your direction. Ask the taxi driver to activate the Taximeter, and when you reach your destination, you pay the amount of the ride which is indicated on the screen. Additionally, you and the taxi driver can agree on an amount to pay before getting in the taxi. You can pay with cash. If you need a receipt, remember to ask the driver if it is possible to get it, before the ride starts.
