The Dunas de Maspalomas is a vast area of dunes stretching over about 400 hectares in the south of Gran Canaria. It is one of the island's most popular attractions. The dune area was created by wind that blew sand from the beach inland. The dunes are in constant motion, changing shape and size depending on wind direction and strength.

Pico de Bandama is a volcanic crater and one of the highest points on the island. The crater is about 570 meters high and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. anfrom the top of Pico de Bandama you can enjoy stunning views of the island of Gran Canaria, including the ocean, the mountains and the surrounding towns and villages. There are several hiking trails that lead to the top of the crater, ranging from easy to more challenging routes.
