Bus
To take a public bus from Tenerife South Airport (Aeropuerto de Tenerife Sur - TFS), follow these steps:
1. Find the bus stop
The bus stop is outside the terminal, on the ground floor, near the arrivals area. It is well signposted.
2. Choose the right bus line
The main bus routes (operated by TITSA) are:
- Line 10: Tenerife South Airport ⇄ Santa Cruz de Tenerife (via Los Cristianos)
- Line 40: Tenerife South Airport ⇄ Costa Adeje (via Los Cristianos)
- Line 343: Tenerife South Airport ⇄ Tenerife North Airport (via Puerto de la Cruz)
- Line 111: Tenerife South Airport ⇄ Santa Cruz de Tenerife (via Costa Adeje)
- Line 711: Night service between Costa Adeje and Santa Cruz
3. Buy your ticket
- You can buy your ticket directly from the driver (cash payment, preferably with small change).
- You can also use the Ten+ (Tenmás) rechargeable card, available at kiosks and vending machines.
- Contactless payment with a bank card is available on some routes.
4. Check the schedule
Timetables vary depending on the line and season. You can check them on the official TITSA website: www.titsa.com.
5. Board the bus
- Enter through the front door and validate your ticket.
- Inform the driver of your destination if needed.
- Stops are announced and displayed inside the bus.
6. Get off at your destination
- Press the "STOP" button before your stop.
- Make sure you have all your belongings before getting off.

Types of services:
- Urban buses: Mainly operate in large cities such as Santa Cruz de Tenerife and La Laguna.
- Intercity buses: Connect various cities and tourist areas like Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos, and Puerto de la Cruz.
- Night buses: Routes starting with "7" (e.g., 711) operate at night, connecting major cities and tourist zones.
Subscriptions and tourist passes:
- Ten+ Day Card: Unlimited travel for 1 day (€10) or 7 days (€50).
Taxi
You can request a taxi from the front desk of your accommodation or restaurant. You may also wait for a taxi at the taxi rank.
Before you get in the taxi, you must inform the driver of your direction. Ask the taxi driver to activate the Taximeter, and when you reach your destination, you pay the amount of the ride which is indicated on the screen. Additionally, you and the taxi driver can agree on an amount to pay before getting in the taxi. You can pay with cash. If you need a receipt, remember to ask the driver if it is possible to get it, before the ride starts.
