  • A good schnitzel (such as the famous Wiener Schnitzel) — the entire village explicitly mentions schnitzel as part of its offerings. 
  • Delicious desserts or snacks such as Kaiserschmarrn: fluffy shredded pancakes served with apple sauce, for example. 
  • Regional products, with a focus on ingredients “aus der Region” — think fresh cheeses, meats, and local vegetables. 
  • Some specific locations offer a real “mountain inn” atmosphere: for example, the Hecherhütte, where you can barbecue at an altitude of around 1,250 m with a view of the mountains.
