Local Events in Brixen / Bressanone

What to expect: wooden stalls with handicrafts and regional specialties, a winter atmosphere, …

Opening hours: according to TradeFairDates it varies: Mon–Thu 11:00–21:00, Fri–Sun and holidays 10:00–21:00.

During the Christmas season there is a light and music show in the courtyard of the Hofburg in Brixen.

This show runs from 21 November 2025 to 6 January 2026.

Theme: “Oops – A Light & Music Show for UNICEF” — with part of the proceeds going to UNICEF projects.

There are Advent walks and guided tours in Brixen, with Christmas stories, music, and lights.

In the Alpine region (Valle Isarco / Eisacktal), there are special stalls, children’s activities, crafts, and more on the Advent Sundays.

There is a yearly program from Elki Bressanone / Brixen with activities for children (storytelling, Christmas stories, music, workshops).

Example: on 11 December 2025 there is “Giulia Campolo,” an afternoon activity for children (ages 2–5) with stories & singing.

And on 16 December 2025: “Weihnachtszauber” with Christmas stories accompanied by sound bowls.

Brixen / Bressanone has a weekly market according to the city’s official calendar.
