Bus

You can give the bus driver cash in euros as payment for the bus ride. Ask the driver to call out your stop, when you need to get off. 

Corfu has two main bus lines that make getting around the island easy, each offering its own unique features:

• The Blue Bus (https://astikoktelkerkyras.gr/en/itineraries/) (also known as the Corfu City Bus) 
• The Green Bus (https://ktelkerkyras.gr/en) offers extensive coverage across the island, starting and ending in Corfu Town.  

Taxi

You can request a taxi from the front desk of your accommodation or restaurant. You may also wait for a taxi at the taxi rank. In Corfu we have a radio taxi system, where you can call the radio taxi on +30 2661 033811 to get 24/7 access to taxi services. 

Before you get in the taxi, you must inform the driver of your direction. Ask the taxi driver to activate the Taximeter, and when you reach your destination, you pay the amount of the ride which is indicated on the screen. Additionally, you and the taxi driver can agree on an amount to pay before getting in the taxi. You can pay with cash. If you need a receipt, remember to ask the driver if it is possible to get it, before the ride starts. Be advised that taxis on Corfu are quite expensive in comparison to other Greek destinations.
