Beautiful little traditional villages can be discovered throughout the island. To do something like this, a rental car is advised.

North side of Samos:

Vourliotes

One of the most known smaller villages, but still with not too many tourists:

Manolates:

In the past known for it’s art, more quiet now but still very beautiful village to visit

East side of Samos:

Posidonio :

Small Fisher man’s bay, route to get there is beautiful

Sideras Beach

No sunbeds here, only crystal clear water and rocks and locals that get together to catch calamari or enjoy the view

Small traditional village with beautiful church

Route from this village to the next mentioned (Spatharei) is more than worth the drive!

Spatharei

Small traditional village, one taverna on the main street where you can sit between the locals

West side of Samos:

Ormos

Small village on the seaside, getting more and more popular the last years but still not too overcrowded

Drakei

Village itself is very small, some might say it is overrated, but the view from this village and the route to get there are astonishing.
