Alvor Boardwalk: This scenic wooden walkway meanders through the Alvor estuary, providing picturesque views of wetlands and diverse birdlife. It's perfect for leisurely strolls and photography enthusiasts.  

Portimão Museum (Museu de Portimão): Housed in a former sardine canning factory, the museum offers insights into the region's rich maritime history and industrial heritage. Exhibits include archaeological finds and interactive displays.  

Fort of Santa Catarina: Overlooking Praia da Rocha, this 17th-century fort was built to protect the area from pirate attacks. Today, visitors can explore its historic walls and enjoy panoramic views of the coastline.  

Igreja Matriz de Portimão: This 17th-century church, located on the highest point in the city, features a late-Gothic portal inspired by the Monastery of Batalha. It has undergone several renovations over the years and offers insights into the region's architectural heritage.  

Marina de Portimão: Situated at the Arade river estuary, the marina is framed by the historical forts of Santa Catarina and São João. It's a pleasant area to walk around, with various restaurants, shops, and bars offering views of the sea and anchored yachts.
