If you need assistance for your transfer or at the airport, you need to request it to you Sunweb representative. After this chat you get the question ‘Could you find the answer you are looking for?’. At Faro Airport (Aeroporto de Faro), assistance and wheelchair services are available for passengers with reduced mobility or special needs. Here's how you can arrange it:

  1. Booking in Advance:
    1. It's recommended to request assistance at least 48 hours in advance to ensure smooth arrangements. This can typically be done through your airline when booking your flight or by contacting the airport directly.
    2. When booking with your airline, inform them about your specific needs (e.g., wheelchair, assistance with boarding, or help navigating the airport).
  2. On Arrival at Faro Airport:
    1. Upon arrival at the airport, you can approach the information desk or use the dedicated assistance contact numbers provided on the airport website to request help.
    2. If you've pre-booked assistance, staff will be expecting you and will help you through check-in, security, boarding, and disembarkation.
  3. Facilities:
    1. Faro Airport provides wheelchairs and escort services for passengers with mobility challenges. You’ll be accompanied by staff who will help you with check-in, security procedures, and getting to your gate.
    2. Special rest areas for people with reduced mobility are available in the airport, including accessible toilets and waiting areas.
  4. At the Gate and Boarding:
    1. If you've requested assistance, staff will help you board the plane and ensure you’re seated comfortably. Similarly, upon arrival, you'll receive assistance to exit the plane and navigate the terminal to your onward transportation or baggage claim.
